Behind the Scenes (and Behind the Koláče!) – Making My Czech Food Video

I just have to tell you — recording my new Czech food video guide was such a fun (and delicious) day.

We had everything ready: camera, lights, photos, and of course — a box full of fresh koláče, those soft little round cakes filled with poppy seeds, jam, or tvaroh (sweet cheese). They were meant to be props, but let’s just say… the cameraman had a very hard time not eating them before we hit "record." 😂 

We managed to save a few (barely!) and got some lovely shots for the video. But honestly, the whole process reminded me how exciting it is to share our local food culture with visitors — and how confusing it can be if you're new to Czech menus!
